Travel Class paperwork takes very little time

Studying English abroad is not a luxury, but a necessity, because it is very important to immerse yourself in the language environment, to start using the language as a tool for communication, rather than aimlessly learning different aspects without applying them in practice.
Our English Department at our Moscow school has been organizing trips for children to London for a number of years already. We believe that children need to learn to communicate in English not only with native speakers, but also with students from other countries.
Usually our groups go to the same campus every year - it's a great place to study and live. We used the Travel Class platform to make travel arrangements, where we found the campus we wanted, set the dates, number of kids, chose a program, pre-booked airport transfers and return transfers, and chose excursions. We then distributed the link to this program to parents of children in grades 5-7.
Since we work in a regular school, communication with the parents is done by informing via e-mail or through the children. Class teachers are also very helpful (they send information about the trip to parent chats).
Drawing up documents with the help of the program Travel Class takes little time and, which is very convenient, all scans of the necessary papers you need to upload to a personal office (both for the chaperone and for the student). The list of documents is already listed directly in the personal office, the parents only need to scan and upload to the site. After that, the embassy checks the documents and sets a date for the visit. On the day of the visit at the embassy we needed only a passport and an invitation to the embassy. All documents were already uploaded and we did not need to bring anything extra.
We made the flight from Moscow to London with Aeroflot without any delays or incidents. Upon arrival at Heathrow airport a transfer to the campus was waiting for us. Since our flight arrived ahead of schedule, we only had to wait 10-15 minutes. The driver was very polite and friendly. The minibus accommodated all 13 children + two chaperones.
A week before the arrival the school conducts an assessment of the children for further placement in groups of different levels. The classes are taught by native speakers, experts in their field. The lessons are conducted in a friendly atmosphere and attention is given to each student (lessons usually run from 9 am to 12.20 pm with a 20 minute break).
Accommodation on campus is 2-4 people in a private room with private bathroom and kitchenette. The rooms are quite spacious, clean and new. The room has everything you need: kettle, microwave, and utensils. It is worth noting the security measures of the campus: all guests have access only to their floor, school, dining hall and basement, where discos and movies are held. Access to all floors is strictly by card with a chip.
Our tours are divided into paid and free. Our complimentary excursions include Big Ben, Parliament House, Westminster Abbey, National Gallery, Trafalgar Square, British Museum, Science Museum, Natural History Museum, London Bridge, Millennium Bridge, Tower Bridge, Kings Cross Station + 9 ¾ platform, and Paddington Station.
Of the paid tours we chose: London Eye, Thames Cruise, Tower of London, Sherlock Holmes Museum and London ZOO.
Much of the money can be saved on travel - if there are children in the group who look younger than 10 years - they can be taken for free, both on the subway and on the bus. The fare is quite expensive. For example, to go between 4 and 1 zone of the subway, you have to pay 50.5 pounds per person. We bought tickets for all tours online - it was cheaper for the whole group. Print tickets are available on campus.
Overall, the trip went very positively and we managed to do everything we had planned. We are looking forward to our next trip!

This November, I took my students to London for a week's English course at Stay Campus Colindale. The trip was organized by Travel Class. Thanks to the professionals working in this organization, the preparation and the trip itself went without a hitch !! To be honest, this is a complete delight !! It is very easy to book a trip on the Internet platform, in addition, parents pay all expenses online and upload the documents necessary for a visa there. Navigating the site is quite simple, nevertheless, my parents had quite a few questions, which I immediately addressed to Kirill Khripunov and immediately received answers to them. In general, many thanks to Kirill for his support and control at all stages of preparation and the trip itself !! This made the algorithm of actions even easier.
I liked the school itself very much: comfortable conditions and service, good food, creative design, a good location very close to the metro. We would love to go there again!
We are currently planning our next trip to England in the summer, in November to Ireland and next summer to the USA. We look forward to a long and fruitful cooperation with Travel Class!

The 2 week trip to London for 20 teachers, organized by supervisor Kirill Khripunov, was in many ways very productive and informative. THANK YOU. We were able to:
1) experience on the spot the organization of teaching and accommodation for international students on English courses at several language schools.
2) to try it all out for ourselves - to learn the courses ourselves, to live and eat in the conditions offered
3) arrange extensive cultural activities, including royal palaces, castles, theaters and museums.

So how did it all start?
First of all we thought about where to stay and where to study. The ideal option seemed, of course, to combine living and studying. My colleague and I decided to ask our school for their opinion. The head of the department of English suggested paying attention to the Travel Class platform, as she had used their services more than once. We decided to look for information and reviews on the Internet. Then we decided to take our educational trip with the support of Travel Class.
We ran an advertising campaign among the students at our school, showing them pictures of the Colindale Campus and telling them testimonials from teachers and kids who had already visited the campus. Kids who wanted to do it shared the information with their parents. We in turn tried to send parents all materials and answer all questions about the trip. Then we started to do the paperwork.
I would like to note that we saved a lot of time and effort this year. Because the registration of the trip was very simple and convenient: the teacher chooses the program, puts the dates and sends a link to the parents by mail. Paying for the trip can be done online in two steps. All documents are also uploaded online: no need to take a big folder of papers to the embassy.
Then there was a general parent meeting where a presentation about the Campus was shown. Some excursions were offered. Parents were able to ask questions of both us as group chaperones and the Travel Class representative. It was decided what airline we would be flying on, the accommodations, tuition, and food.
Prior to departure, the children were tested for placement by level into student groups on Campus. The kids received the tests by email. And the results were automatically sent to the organizers on campus.
The flight was by Aeroflot, which is known for its stability and comfort. On arrival, we were met by a shuttle bus with a very friendly and talkative driver, who drove us to the Campus and helped to load and unload our luggage.
At the front desk we were given room keys (for each student) and local sim cards. There is free wi-fi on site. The rooms are modern and comfortable. We were accommodated by 2, 3 and 4 people. The cafeteria, which is on the seventh floor, is modern and youth-friendly. The kids liked the food. Breakfasts were not varied, but included everything they needed to be full and ready for class. Breakfast usually consisted of: croissants and buns with chocolate, jam, muesli, fruit, vegetables, cheese, sausage, sliced ham, toast, yogurt, coffee, hot milk and tea.
At 9:00 a.m. the classes started. At 10:40 a.m. there was a break until 11:00. Then lessons again until 12:20. The lessons were interesting and different. There were talks, handouts, grammar. After school we went to lunch. Lunch time was 12:20-14:00.
After lunch, we always went on excursions and walks. We managed to visit London Eye, The City of London, The City of Westminster, Trafalgar Square, The Tower of London, Tower Bridge, Sherlock Holmes Museum, London Zoo, Hyde Park, St. James Park, The Natural History museum, The Science Museum and many other places. Lifehack #1: Tickets for all tours should be purchased online in advance to feel comfortable and not be afraid of not getting somewhere. Guys got acquainted with the London Underground, which is quite different from the Moscow one. Lifehack #2: If students are under 10 years old, you can walk four students on one Oyster card through a wide turnstile. You can save money that way. The kids bought themselves souvenirs at stores devoted to famous movies like Harry Potter and Paddington Bear.
In the evenings, after dinner, which was from 19:00 to 20:00, we had a round table discussion about the events of the day, did assignments on the printouts, made dialogues and the next day recorded video reports from the interesting and famous places in London.
We didn't want to leave! London pleased us with its hospitality and politeness. The guests felt comfortably and embraced the atmosphere of the city. They tried to speak English everywhere they could. And that was one of the main goals of our trip!

I would like to thank Travel Class for the unforgettable trip to London. We managed to combine everything: rest, walks in the neighborhoods, theaters and museums, visits to schools and universities, practicing English and communicating with colleagues, sharing experiences and learning ourselves. Accommodation at Colindale campus was comfortable and convenient, since the campus is close to the metro station. A special thanks to Kirill who accompanied us the whole trip and was always ready to answer any questions. It was great!

We recently returned from London!
We would like to express our enormous gratitude to the entire Travel Class team, especially to Kirill Khripunov, for making this offer not only possible, but also real!
Once in the fall I came across the site travelclass.org, I studied it from beginning to end, especially the section for teachers and the program of cooperation seemed interesting! I subscribed to all the groups on social networking sites, read the reviews and mentally imagined myself in the picture! It was just a matter of time, after getting my fill of inspiration and determination, I left a request for a phone call and consultation. That's how it all started! Don't be afraid to start. Don't wait until it's too late! I, for one, got into action!
The algorithm of actions is actually not complicated at all, especially when you have 24/7 support!
The most important thing I'd like to get across to you is
- Don't give up and be confident!
You may change the group several times (the last time I had it changed almost on the day of application for a visa!) And the dates of the trip itself, too! You are flying with children, be prepared for anything and remember that the most important thing is their health and safety!
- Everything will be fine as long as you don't panic in situations that are not in your plans! I don't remember my first minutes in London as one of the kids got sick: motion sickness and the result was not long in coming! Act promptly, but calmly! Your actions will determine whether or not you make it to your transfer, and the whole mood of the trip in general!
- Don't expect perfect Recieved Pronunciation! Especially at the airport or somewhere in line at Madame Tussauds, especially in critical situations! So be prepared that London is very cosmopolitan!
The London Underground and Oyster is a separate story that seems scary only on the first day. Once you get to the first sight, you will forget that the fare is very expensive, that there are some zones on the subway, as you will just be happy!
Good luck to you! If you are already reading this text, then you are already in the right direction as you receive the newsletter from Travel Class! It means that one day you, like me, will decide to put a checkmark in front of your goal and dream! You will succeed!

I would like to thank the company and personally the director Kirill Khripunov for the unique opportunity to combine business with pleasure! A trip to London was just that case! Study sessions with Stay Campus Colindale's teachers were a great way to enrich our knowledge in all the aspects of the language that are so important for an English teacher in a Russian school! We had a chance to visit English summer schools and see everything with our own eyes, ask all the necessary questions and then clearly answer the questions of potential students and their parents. And, of course, the English attractions! The day was structured so that after lunch we could go and explore all the interesting places in London and beyond. The trip was unforgettable!!! Thanks again to all the organizers of this trip!

Teachers in London are different from ours

The teachers in London are different from ours for sure. In terms of the level of presentation of the material, in terms of quality and in terms of pace, everything is different, but this is definitely not a bad thing. New experiences are always welcome. My students were charged with positive impressions and gained experience. We saw, so to speak, everything from the inside. We were at Stay Campus Colindale. The week passed quickly.
